As if I needed another excuse to read....
In the words of a friend of mine, Let me introduce you to my new boyfriend…Kindle. There is a new love in my life and I want to tell everyone about it. We met on my Christmas, and it was love at first sight. Kindle takes me places I've never been before, makes me laugh, cry, and think about things I've never considered previously. I can't wait to get done with work so we can spend time together, and cuddle up in bed together. Kindle has changed my life!
After discovering the joys of the Kindle App for my phone a year ago, taking books with me everywhere got a whole lot easier. If I was stuck in traffic, or a line, or where ever I could just take out my phone and PRESTO! a book! The only down fall to reading on your phone is that it is soooo small! As I was visiting my Dear Sweets in Provo this summer, Leslie showed me her Kindle, told me how great they were, and my eyes turned green (well, more green than they already are) and I started thinking about buying a REAL Kindle.
Then on Christmas morning after everything was opened up, my mom said she forgot to bring something out, she went back to their room, and came out with a KINDLE for ME! I squealed like a little girl and did a very enthusiastic "Happy Dance". It was a complete surprise, I didn't get many "wrapped presents" because my Birthday/Christmas presents this year is Lasik, but when my mom brought out that little box I felt like I was a little girl again getting my very first pink bike. It was great.
Because of my app, I had plenty of books ready to put on it and enjoy. I spend the majority of Christmas day cuddled up in my pajamas on the couch with my new love.
Today I ordered a pretty skin and case to protect him, because I cant seem to leave him at home. He comes with me everywhere, to work, in the car, to the cabin, in bed, everywhere.
Also, I need to think up a suitable name for him, I am thinking perhaps Grosvenor? (Pronounced Grow-vs-ner) or Winston? something studious….
